Scope
:
To disseminate latest developments, research activities, important work
done in the field of Library and Information Science and Technology(LIST)
and also to exchange knowledge, experience, issues and solutions among
professionals and other interested groups.
Coverage
Library principles, practices and administration, TQM, benchmarking,
trends and developments, policy formulations and issues, LIS services,
metric and user studies, evaluation of library and information systems,
services and products, LIS education and training, web based information
services, information literacy, information and knowledge management,
IPR, ICT applications, e-resources and e-services, metadata creation and
standards, search engines, subject gateways and data mining, digital
initiatives, standards, preservation and conservation strategies, open
source initiatives, content development and e-publishing, human resource
development, knowledge skills and capacity building initiatives.
Contributions
Articles are invited based on research work, case studies, practical
applications, report of important projects, short communications, etc.
Authors Responsibilities
Copyright: Articles submitted to the journal should be original
contributions and should have not been published previously or submitted
elsewhere for consideration to any other publication at the same time.
An undertaking has to be signed by the author that the article submitted
is not an infringement of any existing copyright and the author will
indemnify the publisher against any breach of any existing copyright.
Each article should accompany a prescribed journal article form duly
completed and signed by the author.
Manuscript Guidelines
Manuscript in English should be in triplicate and typed in MS-WORD with
double spacing, wide margins, and on one side of an A4-size bond paper.
All submissions must be accompanied by a covering letter giving
affiliation and full address, e-mail, telephone, of
all the authors. The length of the article should not exceed 5000 words
or 8 (eight) pages.
Title : Should be concise, specific and complete
Abstract: Maximum 200 words highlighting the significance of the
research, scope, methodology, and conclusion
Keywords: Up to 8 (eight)
Table: Must be numbered consecutively in Roman numerals
Figures: Must be numbered consecutively in Indo-Arabic numerals.
Charts/graphs/line drawings in jpeg formats at least 300 dpi resolution
and 10 cm wide

Submission of Papers
Final version of manuscript should be submitted as an e-mail attachment.
The author should ensure that the article is complete, grammatically
correct and without spelling or typographical errors. All permissions
that may be required to reproduce illustrations or previously published
materials or to cite unpublished data or personal communications should
accompany the manuscript in writing. Major changes are rarely permitted
after an article has been accepted. Authors are advised not to submit
the downloaded papers. The Publisher/Editorial Board reserves the right
of addition, deletion, alteration and rejection of the articles without
any prior intimation to the author(s).
